We may collect the following categories of information when you use AuraConnect:

• Merchant and account information: name, business contact details, store information, subscription details, and communications with our team.
• Shopify store information: product catalog data, store configuration, and other information that a merchant authorizes Shopify to provide to AuraConnect.
• Shopper interaction information: pages and products viewed, cart activity, session events, messages submitted through AuraConnect, and the recommendations or responses displayed.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, diagnostic logs, and information about how the service is used.
• Information you choose to provide: details included in support requests, product inquiries, newsletter sign-ups, or other communications.

We use information to:

• provide, operate, maintain, and improve AuraConnect;
• generate shopping guidance, product recommendations, and merchant analytics;
• authenticate users, administer subscriptions, and provide customer support;
• monitor performance, prevent fraud or misuse, and protect the security of the service;
• communicate about service updates and, where permitted, relevant product news; and
• comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.

When AuraConnect processes shopper information on behalf of a merchant, that merchant determines why and how the information is processed. Shoppers should also review the privacy policy of the store they visit.

We may share information only as needed with:

• service providers that support hosting, analytics, communications, security, payments, and AI-powered service functionality;
• Shopify and the relevant merchant to operate the app and provide requested features;
• professional advisers or authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or respond to valid legal requests; and
• a successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business.

We do not sell personal information or use shopper conversations for third-party targeted advertising.

AuraConnect and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep the service working, remember preferences, understand usage, and protect against abuse. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete these technologies, although parts of the service may then work differently.

We retain information for only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or appeal a decision about a privacy request.

Merchants can contact us directly. If your request concerns information collected through a Shopify store, please contact that store first so the merchant can verify and manage your request. You may also email us at support@aura-connect.ai.

AuraConnect and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where it was collected. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers in accordance with applicable data protection law.

AuraConnect is intended for businesses and general online shopping experiences. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our service or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
